Alternative Gifts Kamloops is an attempt on the part of the Kamloops Chapter of the Council of Canadians to try to help people to find a way to be a positive force in their community while at the same time curbing their consumer-driven lifestyles. This is not an easy thing to do when we have deep-seated demands and expectations placed on all of us. We try to target our help toward projects which are doing excellent community work yet do not qualify for United Way or other funding. |
